Financial Crisis averted

Regarding the cost of the drugs for my stem cell we have been able to get the government to pay for the whole cost of my prescription even the dispensing fees. This is a huge relief of stress for me and my family as we were able to access the trillium drug benefit plan which covered the cost of the medications. I thank God today I live in a country called Canada.

Preparation for Stemcell transplant

I met with my Doctors over the last 2 days and we are moving forward with my stem cell transplant.
As part of the preparation I have been advised that I have to undergo a number of injections of a drug called neupigin to boost my stem cell counts prior to extraction. Unfortunately, the cost of these drugs is going to be  almost $10,000 which neither my extended health plan or government will pay. To make matters worse my Doctor has scheduled  me to have my first treatment on December 6th meaning that the drugs have to be paid for by then. I am not sure how at this point I am going to come up with $10,000 in less than a week.
